BTS Jimin Gets Positive to Covid, Undergoes Appendicitis Surgery
Armys trend recovery wishes for BTS Jimin as he undergoes appendicitis surgery while being Covid positive.
On January 31st, BTS’s agency Big Hit Music took to their fan community platform Weverse, to announce an update on the health of their main vocalist, Jimin.
According to the announcement made, after Jimin experienced “sudden abdominal pain and mild sore throat in the afternoon of January 30th”, he went for a thorough checkup where he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and Covid. Following the physician’s advice, he underwent surgery successfully early in the morning on 31st January.
It was also mentioned that Jimin “is making a speedy recovery and had no contact with the other members during the infectious stage”.

As soon as the news broke out, Army fans across the globe wished the ailing member a speedy recovery as Jimin receives treatment for Covid and post-operative care simultaneously.

In the month of December, BTS members RM, Jin, and SUGA were diagnosed to be Covid positive but recovered soon upon receiving the treatment while being in quarantine. For now, all the BTS members apart from Jimin are on an extended vacation.
