Director Lee Jae Gyu recently gave some spoilers for All Of Us Are Dead Season 2, after the success of the first season on Netflix.
In an interview on February 7th with Wikitree, director Lee Jae Gyu revealed his plans for the second season of the zombie horror series.
Adding to the fans’ expectations confirmed that we might get a second season soon by explaining, “I personally want to make a season 2 but there is nothing solid or confirmed officially.”
Though nothing is guaranteed regarding All Of Us Are Dead Season 2, director Lee Jae Gyu still has an outline of how that series would be followed up. He says, “If season 1 showed a comparison and contrast in how adults and students survive the zombie apocalypse, I want to show the comparison between the surviving human group and the zombie group in All Of Us Are Dead Season 2.”
The first season of ‘All Of Us Are Dead’ saw the departure of the beloved character Cheong San as he tries to take down the villain Gwi Nam. The director shares his dilemma for All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 and says, “If Cheong San were to come alive, I think there will be viewers who won’t be able to accept that but also there are going to be fans who are happy about it. We have a definite plan, but it’s difficult to share it here, now.”
“I do have a vague picture that I drew out imagining what would happen if all the other actors, including Cheong San, were to appear in All Of Us Are Dead Season 2. I definitely want to add more plot twists than season 1,” he added.
Seems like the views weren’t the only ones who got attached to the character. All Of Us Are Dead’s director shared his feelings for the character and elaborates, “If Cheong San were to come alive, I think there will be viewers who won’t be able to accept that but also there are going to be fans who are happy about it. We have a definite plan, but it’s difficult to share it here, now.”
